Everyone loves avocados at the moment, you've probably seen avocados more than once on your Instagram feed to today, so naturally I had to show you how I use this weird green fruit almost daily.
This is genuinely the simplest Guacamole recipe ever, seriously you need four ingredients that's it. It's also incredibly adaptable, you could add chillies to spice it up, or change up any of the ingredients you want for things you personally prefer.
Once you've made this Guac, you can use it as a dip, in sandwiches or in any other way you can imagine!
Lime Juice or the juice of one Lime
A handful of Coriander
1. Split the avocado in half, and then segment it into cubes, using a spoon to scoop the flesh away from the skin. Pop this in a medium-sized bowl, any dessert bowl will do, and mash it down a bit with a fork.
2. Chop up your tomato into small chunks or cubes, you could also add jalapeños or other types of chilli too, and add this to the bowl.
3. Next grab your coriander and chop it either finely or into larger pieces, however you prefer. If you're not keen on coriander, chop it very fine, but if you love the stuff like me, big pieces are the way to go. Then pop this in the bowl too.
4. Finally add one tablespoon of lime juice or the juice of one lime to the bowl, you can add more or less depending on your own preferences. Then mix everything together and you're done!
I like to use my Guacamole in granary bread sandwiches, or as a dip, but coming up into barbecue time you could use it for anything.
This Guac doesn't keep particularly well, as it's completely fresh, it's definitely something you'd have to make on the day of using as I wouldn't suggest keeping it. But, it is ridiculously easy and very quick to make, seriously it takes me about five minutes.
This recipe is both Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.
