Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb | Lush Review

Today I've decided to try out the Instagram LUSH favourite - The Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb.
I've been patiently waiting to use it, and have decided that now is the time. Finally.

This bath bomb is rather large, I can't close my hand around it. It's also flat and a very pretty leaf shape. This is definitely one of the prettiest bath bombs LUSH has released this Autumn/Winter, with a beautiful selection of Autumnal colours, yellow, red and teal.

Vegan Christmas - Spinach and Mushroom Plait

One idea I've had for this Christmas on both my blog, and my YouTube channel, is to show you how to hold a Vegan Christmas, as it'll be my first as well. So we can be rookies at this together!

Today I'm sharing with you a freakishly easy recipe, even for the lazy cooks among us. This is incredibly easy to make, and you can keep it either in the fridge or freeze it in portions. If you wanted, you could make this a couple of days before Christmas, refrigerate it, and then have it instead of a Turkey.

Don't be afraid of the amount of steps, it's just me over-explaining, this is actually super simple, and it doesn't require you to make sauces, spices, pastries or ANYTHING like that.

Filofax Planning and a Vegan Journey - Where I've been

I do feel like I'm constantly wiring things like, 'sorry I've been gone', or even saying it on my YouTube channel, which I haven't updated in about a month... and I am sorry.
But at the same time, I've used this month to develop myself, and by that I mean seriously tidying, cleaning, sorting, organising, and becoming an 'adult'.
I've started using my Filofax seriously, and I've become Vegan.

Vegan Sweet Chilli Duck Noodles

I can now full-heartedly and proudly say, that as of 10/10/16 I am officially a VEGAN. (This will be posted about a week after 10/10/16)

I was a vegetarian for nearly twelve months, before giving up due to social pressure, and not really researching the meat, dairy and egg industries respectively.

This time around I have done a lot more research, and I'm starting to find that vegan is everywhere. One of my all-time favourite YouTubers - Kiera Rose - is the driving force behind my decision, as well as finding some other amazingly informative sources as well. If you'd like to hear more about those, I have a post coming up on that too.

My Favourite Autumn Nail Polishes - 2016

As you know, I love nail polish, seriously, love it. I definitely have colours that I lean towards more, particularly at different times of year. Autumn is my absolute favourite, because it's when everything starts to get a little darker. It brings in the khakis, the maroons, the mustards, all the best colours.

So today I'm going to share with you, my absolute favourite colours, the ones that I think are not only the best colours, but also the best applying and best finishes.

Harvest Moon Pumpkin Spice Loaf Cake

I am completely besotted with Starbuck's Gingerbread Loaf Cake that they release every Christmas. Unfortunately we still have to wait a while for the sticky, deliciousness that is Gingerbread cake. Whilst waiting in line to get my customary PSL, I noticed the Autumnal loaf cake offering, the most amazing Pumpkin Spice Loaf Cake I've ever eaten. It was so amazing I had to share it with my equally PSL-loving co-worker.
I'm not usually a fan of pumpkin seeds, or most seeds for that point. But, when in the sticky, caramel glaze on top of Starbuck's loaf cake, they are so tasty! You've just gotta cover a healthy food in caramel for me to eat it.

LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs 'Supernatural' Palette

I've been oggling the LunatiCK Cosmetic's 'Supernatural' Palette for ages, and I do mean ages, as in two Christmases have passed!
I finally took the leap and bought it at the beginning of the month, after loving my Contour Book, I knew I'd love this palette.

Manicure of the Week - I'm Sooo Swamped

I'm high-key obsessed with nail polishes, and as someone who owns over 200 bottles of the stuff, I know a bit about it too. So I wanted to start a weekly series on my manicure of the week, as we can wear nail polish at work now! Yay!

Autumn Bucket List 2016

I love making a list, no really, I love to make lists. There's a whole new season coming up, and I've seen Autumn Bucket Lists all over Pinterest, so I just had to make one.
So here's my pretty Photoshop Bucket List for Autumn 2016. Every time I cross something off I'll post about it, whether its decorating, day in the life of, DIYs or recipes!

First Fall Snickerdoodles

There's something a bit special about an American cookie. They aren't really anything like the 'normal' chocolate chip cookie, they're a little different, a little special.
When I first heard of Snickerdoodles, that they were soft, pillowy cookies encased in delightful cinnamon sugar, I was sold. Unfortunately I completely forgot to try one last time I was in Florida, which I think is pretty easy to do...
So I have to make do with making my own.

The Perfect Coat Wishlist

I am a huge fan of coats and jackets, I feel like they complete an outfit, and we're coming up to the time of year when they will be essential here in the UK. So I've decided to compile a list of my favourites from this year's Autumn and Winter collections. For Winter coats, I think that most of these are a ok price, with one or two that are on the more expensive side.
This is the Cream Faux Fur Fallaway Coat from River Island. It seems to be a thinner material, with a faux fur collar, the thinner material making it absolutely perfect for layering with knits and checked shirts. The material itself is faux leather-suede, and looks to be quite soft.

Lime Crime Superfoil|Malibu/Convertible

As soon as Lime Crime started advertising their new 'Superfoil' eyeshadows, I just knew that I'd have to try them. They promised and ├╝ber metallic finish, and great shine and wear.

My Month on Citalopram - So Far

As mentioned in a previous post, I've taken some steps towards dealing further with my anxiety and depression.

I think it is important to keep writing these particular posts, because I think it's very important that we actually talk about mental illness, rather than brushing it under the cupboard, or locking it away. It shouldn't be a taboo subject to talk about, and people shouldn't be ashamed to say 'Hey, I'm not ok'.

So that's why I'm going to keep you guys updated with my journey. You can see all my ups and downs, the progress I make and what I'm doing to help myself.

Beach Bag Essentials 2016

I feel like I've been doing a lot of these 'essentials' or 'Summer 2016' posts, but I like them, I like seeing other people's picks for the season, so I'mma keep going! I don't know what it is, maybe it's the new laptop? But I'm feeling very productive all of a sudden...hmm...
I always find it useful to have a list of things to pack, whether it's my suitcase for two weeks away, or just my beach-bag for a short jaunt. Lists are good! Plus I've been watching a LOT of Organised Like Jen videos, and I'm ever so slightly obsessed, so be prepared for absolutely anything and everything this year.

Easiest and Tastiest Guacamole EVER!

Everyone loves avocados at the moment, you've probably seen avocados more than once on your Instagram feed to today, so naturally I had to show you how I use this weird green fruit almost daily.
This is genuinely the simplest Guacamole recipe ever, seriously you need four ingredients that's it. It's also incredibly adaptable, you could add chillies to spice it up, or change up any of the ingredients you want for things you personally prefer.
Once you've made this Guac, you can use it as a dip, in sandwiches or in any other way you can imagine!

Top 5 Summer Liquid Lipsticks | 2016

I am finding writing very difficult at the moment, the blogging gods are not on my side at the moment. So I decided to overhaul my blog and move things around a bit, and, I kinda like it!
Let me know what you think of the new blog theme. I wanted something that was fairly white and neutral, with pops of green and purple, so this is what I've come up with!
Anyway for now, here's a long post on my top five liquid lipsticks for the Summertime this year.

French Toast Oatmeal and Egg White Pancakes

So now I'm writing things that make me happy, I'm going to start posting new recipes, things I'm trying out, changing or inventing myself.
I recently did a lot of googling, and stumbled across Demi Lovato's 'What I eat in a Week' over on Women's Health.
I noticed she ate Oatmeal and Egg White Pancakes for breakfast everyday, granted hers were with applesauce and fruit, not syrup and cinnamon, but I became intrigued.
I love porridge, eggs and pancakes, so this kind of seemed like a pancake-alternative of oatmeal cookies. Which sounded strange, but delightful.

After looking around the internet for about fifteen minutes, I gauged the general idea of which ingredients to use. You can always use different toppings if cinnamon isn't your favourite, something like plums, nectarines or cherries are my favourites. You can also add protein powder if that's your thing, but I wanted something that didn't necessarily require it.
This recipe is also all in cups, because I'm a lazy arsehole in the morning and can't be bothered with scales.

This recipe is also for either two thicker pancakes or three to four thin pancakes, depending on how large you make them. So this is really a recipe for ONE, but you can easily multiply it up, I have faith in your maths skills!

Where is my mind?

I feel like over the past months my blog hasn't really been about 'me'. Yes, I know it's not always about me, but this is my blog and whilst I love makeup and beauty, I feel like this blog's less mine and more reviews and hauls 24/7, which is 100% what I never wanted to happen.
This was always my space to come and wright about my thoughts, feelings and absolutely everything else, but it's become stale and boring and I'm not happy at all.
You may or may not know, whether you've been here a while or just a short time, I have previously had anxiety and depression. Over the past two or three weeks, they've come back, really badly.
My biggest problem has been trying to explain how anxiety and depression make me feel, to people that have never encountered them. I have probably one, maybe two people, that seem to seriously take it into account. But that's the thing, I don't want people treating me differently, like I'm more fragile because I have anxiety and depression.
I just want them to know that if I'm not 100% myself, I'm not excited about something, if I don't want to go out, it's nothing to do with them, it's me, and it's something you have to leave well enough alone to let me deal with.

BLEACH London|Beach Lights Review

Adventures in Hair!
I haven't dyed my hair in a long, long time, and since the regulations and rules at work concerning this have changed, I thought it was high time to start experimenting again.
To start off this dip-dye/balayage adventure, I started with the BLEACH London 'Beach Lights' kit.
It's a pretty standard bleaching kit, and for £7 I think that's a pretty good deal, considering there's a 3for2 on selected hair care in Boots at the moment.
I will add in a little disclaimer here, I've used bleaching kits before many, many times, but I've never tried balayage before, and after this, not sure I'd bother again.
In the kit you get two packets of bleaching powder (yes, you need to use both), developing lotion (yes, I did forget to put this one in the photo), gloves, a mixing trough, a balayage board, a brush and a pretty decently sized tube of 'Reincarnation Mask'.

BLEACH London Haul

I absolutely love dying my hair, it's been all kinds of colours from blue, to red to Hulk green, almost every colour you can think of, I've done it.
Recently the regulations at my workplace changed, and now we can all dye our hair (we previously had to have 'natural' colours), wear piercings and wear neutral nail polish! So naturally, I'm going to have another go at dying my hair, this time trying out a few new products.
I'm pretty casual about dying my hair, simply because you can always change it back, I've found a hair dye that matches my natural colour that I use to cover up really bad dye-jobs.
This month, I've decided to try my hand using Bleach London bleaches, shampoos, dyes, and restoration products.
Their products have always caught my eye, along with the fun names, the packaging is really cool, and very 'hipster-chic' rough.

Urban Decay|Alice in Wonderland Through The Looking Glass Palette

I was so excited when I first heard that Urban Decay would be collaborating with Disney, especially that it would be an Alice in Wonderland collaboration.
I initially wasn't going to get this palette, but when I recently visited Debenhams after watching several YouTube videos on it, I had to get it. And I am so, so glad that I made that decision!
I feel like the set up of this palette is somewhat like the older Vice palettes, when they used to have pop-ups and 3D bits in them. I was never fortunate enough to get one, so this for me is something completely new and different.
The packaging itself is seriously meticulously designed and feels very special on it's own.

Lime Crime Perlees|Penny and Roswell Review

You can probably tell from my last post that I am a big, big fan of Lime Crime right now. The colours and textures of the products they are creating, are truly amazing.
When I saw the Lime Crime Perlees released, way back in December, I knew that I'd have to take a closer look.
'Penny' was the first shade that really caught my eye, I absolutely love the MAC lipstick 'CB 96' and this one seemed like a more pigmented version. 'Roswell' combines two of my favourite things, aliens and lipstick, the colour looked weird and wonderful so it was a definite buy for me.
As always, I'll start with the packaging. Lime Crime's always had pretty unique and interesting packaging, but this really takes the cake. The packaging on these lipsticks is absolutely beautiful, I myself am not a floral-print fan, but 'IRL' this packaging is amazing.

Lime Crime Spring Velvetines 2016 Collection

When I saw the promo pictures for this year's Spring Lime Crime Velvetine collection, I knew it'd be something I had to get in on.
The cute spring alien aesthetic, combined with luminous bright colours, is extremely interesting.
I ended up buying three out of the four 'limited' colours released, skipping out on 'Zenon', a bright metallic gold.
The packaging on these is exactly the same as the regular Velvetine packaging, frosted tube with a red metallic, painted lid, and doe-foot applicator. In each tube you get 2.6ml/0.088floz. If you buy from the Lime Crime website (like I like to) the lipsticks are £13.93/$20.00 each, which is pretty steep for the amount of product you are getting. Especially when compared to something like Jeffree Star's lipsticks which are £12.54/$18.00 from Jeffree's website, for 5.6ml/0.19floz. More than double the product you get with Lime Crime, for less cash.
I think if you properly work it out, these are quite steep, but if you're looking for really unique and wonderful colours, these are definitely worth a look. Also, can we all appreciate the maths up there?

Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick Haul | Breakfast at Tiffany's, Dominatrix and Scorpio

Does anyone else find it really, really hard to write whilst listening to music?
I'm listening to 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' - Deep Blue Something right now and it's amazing. Pretty apt for this post.

I really need to do a 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' and just put my debit card in the freezer, seriously, someone stop me!
I've just bought these lipsticks and I already have three more shipments of liquid lipstick coming to me, and a new dress. Bye bye pay check!

Cocktail Cosmetics recently restocked with Jeffree Star goodies, including the brand new colour 'Scorpio' a beautiful smoky grey purple.
During this restock I also picked up 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and 'Dominatrix', all at £14 each (or $18 each on the Jeffree Star site).

I'm incredibly excited to see what we're going to get from Jeffree and his company this year, it's going to be all good things I'm sure! Skin Frosts are starting to come out next month, and I have my eye on the metallic liquid lip he's been teasing on Instagram and Snapchat.

I've seen a lot of Halsey over on Tumblr over the past year or so, and she seems like a seriously cool person. She's constantly encouraging her fans to love and to be themselves, which in this day and age, is a really, really cool message to be sending to people. Especially younger, more impressionable ages, the message of self-acceptance is very important.
Halsey recently collaborated with MAC to create a lipstick that is totally different to anything I've ever seen them create. This lipstick makes me so, so excited for the Summertime MAC collections, which I will be writing a piece on in due course. It's also £15.50, like regular MAC lipsticks.
Let's begin with the packaging before we get into the really exciting part.
I love this box, it's bright, beautiful and has definitely brought the spark back to MAC for me. I've not been buying from them for a while, but this has renewed my interest in the brand. The box is bright blue, and furry looking, it looks like hair. I'm pretty sure this is meant to represent Halsey's hair which was bright blue for a while.

Whelp, I'm back again.

Over the past few months a lot of things have happened, I've stopped writing on this blog, and started a new one. Started a new job and began posting on my YouTube channel again, after my accident in December.

I really want to get back into blogging, so this is a new year, and a fresh start on this here blog. I've got a brand new camera to take some awesome photos with (Canon 750D if you're asking), and a brand spankin' new obsession with Netflix. It's unhealthy really.

Maybe this could be the start of something new and beautiful that I've been looking for, and maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of some Frankenstein-style monster blog. All bits and pieces sewn together by one slightly nutty author.

Anyway, I hope you do stick around because it's a new year, even though we're a third through it, and I'm really psyched.

Hey y'all just thought I'd let you know, I'll henceforth be over on
I've been wanting to get back into blogging for a WHILE, but just haven't found the gusto, and well, new year, new blog right?
I've changed A LOT over the past year, I consider 2015 as my story establishment, so this year it's all about action and character development! - Thanks for that one TUMBLR.
